Orchestre National de Jazz welcomes Erik Truffaz
Artistic manager Daniel Yvinec
"Around Robert Wyatt"
The new National Jazz Orchestra, under the direction of Daniel Yvinec, could be renamed the National Orchestra of young people because he gives so much importance to “young curious and open-minded multi-instrumentalists, perfect example of what music in progress have best to offer.”
Tonight’s concert, at the occasion of the CD’s release, has been created especially for the ONJ around a new collaboration between Robert Wyatt and Daniel Yvinec. It takes us into the singer’s world and invites us to rediscover his enchanting melodies by confronting them with the unique sound palette of the orchestra.
