Bill Evans would be eighty years old this year. The legendary pianist revolutionized the approach of “jazz” piano by the harmonious mix of classical melodies and jazz improvisations. To honour his memory, two great musicians, admirers and spiritual sons of the Master, have wished to revive his music in the mythical church of Saint-Germain-des-Prés.
Emmanuel Bex, organist, pianist and composer, definitely represents one of the most impressive figures of European jazz. His Italian equivalent, Nico Morelli, is considered by the press like the most promising jazz pianist for his sensitivity and his virtuosity. Just an elegant soirée.
