In the Eastwood family, the talent is transmitted from father to son. Bass player and composer, Kyle Eastwood has become a musician that can’t be ignored in the jazz scene. In 1998, for his first album, Joni Mitchell responded to the invitation to sing along with him. After two CDs, mixing jazz, electro and funk, it was clear that Kyle made a name for himself. Clint Eastwood often asked him to compose his movies soundtracks.
He recorded his new album “Metropolitan” in Paris and worked with great musicians. Kyle Eastwood has chosen the festival to present his new opus’ release and will be on stage, among others, with pianist Andrew Mc Cormack (British Jazz Awards 2006) and Manu Katché as a special guest.
Yuval Amihaï is a young Israeli guitarist and composer. The influences of the band are various: jazz, rock, popular songs, Israeli folk and classical music. During the “Templin Jeunes Talents 2008” when Yuval began to play jazz melodies with oriental influences, the public and the jury understood that this quintet was no ordinary quintet.
Today, here is the opportunity to discover it on stage!
