The Hadouk trio, nominated best French musical group at the 2007 Victoires du Jazz, is forever inventing exciting journeys, from one continent to another, between jazz and world music, between Africa and the far East. These three music wizards, driven by their close complicity, carry whoever listens to them into a poetic and generous world. With approximately twenty-five instruments on stage, Didier Malherbe, Loy Ehrlich and Steve Shehan improvise and literally whisk us off in with their swirling music. Much more than to just a concert, the Hadouk trio invite us for an unforgettable journey through a great diversity of sounds.
“The sound of the Hadouk trio is an alchemy drawn from the art of the trio, transcended by the three musicians’ constant inspiration”. Jean-Luc Leray / FIP
